The Windigo Lodge is located on the historic Gunflint Trail (County Road 12) and is approximately 3 miles south of the U.S./Canadian border. Get on the Gunflint Trail (CR 12) in Grand Marais, off of Minnesota State Route 61 and follow the Gunflint Trail 32 miles to Windigo Lodge. The Gunflint Trail is a designated "Scenic Byway" so you will enjoy your scenic drive to the Windigo Lodge. You can't miss us; we're located up the Gunflint Trail on the left (S) side of the Gunflint Trail.

Windigo Lodge is on the north shore of Poplar Lake and is located in an area which is a virtual patch-work of lakes, hiking trails and canoe routes.
